Key Club will be meeting every Tuesday morning in A203B at
7:10. Come learn about how to serve your
school and your community through volunteer and leadership opportunities.
Are you interested in visiting the Shedd Aquarium and
Millenium Park in Chicago next Monday October 14th? There are still spots
available. See Mr. Kohl in room A203D for your permission slip. Trip includes
admission to all aquarium exhibits, the dolphin show, and 4D movie! Permission
slips and payment are due this Friday. All seats are first come first serve!

The Discovery Club will be traveling to Maquoketa Caves on Sunday, October 13th from noon to 3:30pm. Cave exploring, hiking, nature investigations, and fun will be the name of the game. Come and join us. Details will be available at 7:15am on Thursdays in B233. Come and get a permission form.
ACTIVITIES
Students – it’s
NOW time to sign up for WINTER SPORTS!!!! Even if you are currently in a
sport and are going to be doing a winter sport – you need to sign up
now!! Come to the Activities Office to make sure you have all of the
required paperwork needed to sign up. Don’t wait until the last
day! The following sports start on November 11th – Women’s
Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Bowling, and Men’s Swimming. The following
sports start on November 18th – Men’s Basketball, Wrestling, and
Winter Cheerleading (yes, cheerleaders you need to let us know if you’re
switching to winter cheer!!).

PROUD to be a RAM?
There will be Cheerleading
Tryouts to fill spots for the basketball and wrestling season. You need to stop by the Activities Office to
pick up tryout packets that are REQUIRED to be filled out before you can try
out.
Tryouts will take place on
October 14th and 15th from 3:30-6:00 in the wrestling
room. If you have any questions, stop by
the Activities Office or contact Coach Mayberry.

The School Counseling Office will be visiting Kirkwood Community College
on November 7th, grab a permission slip in the Counseling Office if
interested.
