Students of this year’s Graduating class.   

This year’s Senior High Awards Assembly will be on Monday May 20th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Senior High Auditorium.  We have a variety of scholarships (Memorial, Community/School, and Specific College Sponsored) that are available for our Senior High graduating students in the class of 2019.   

Applications were emailed to your parents last week.  If you did not see that email, please stop by The School Counseling Office to have an application sent to your email address.  There will be a sign up sheet that you will need to put your name and email address.  Mrs. Lawrence will then send you the electronic application to complete. 

You will need to fill out our application form electronically and electronically submit the completed PDF application to Mrs. Lawrence at llawrence@dbqschools.org by Wednesday March 20th, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. No late applications will be accepted.

Do you enjoy meeting new students and talking to them about our school? Then you may want to join student ambassador. If you are interested in learning more about becoming an ambassador then plan to attend an informational meeting during
 your A or D study time on Wednesday Feb. 20th.

Attention all Juniors! Prom is just around the corner and Student Council will be putting together a Prom Advisory Committee to help plan Prom. Duties include but are not limited to picking a Prom theme, Decorations, selecting chaperones and more. Come to the Student Council Room on Wednesday February 20th during A and D study if you are interested.

Cheerleading Tryouts for 2019-20 School year. Mandatory parent/student Pre-team meeting Monday March 4th, 6:00pm in Nora Gym. Students will receive a required tryout packet. Clinics for Tryouts Thursday March 14th, 6-8pm, Monday March 18th, 6-9pm, Wednesday March 20th, 6-9pm final tryout Thursday March 21st 5:00pm. Any question please contact Coach Mayberry.

Non-Varsity Wrestlers:  Please turn in your warm-ups and gear as soon as possible to your Coaches. 

Dairy Queen and Fazoli's is looking for employees for part-time.  They hire 14 yr. olds and above.  If interested or to apply, stop in at Dairy Queen, Fazoli's, or Kwik Stop on Kerper blvd.

Due to pending weather, we have decided to postpone Trivia Night, which was to take place Thursday night.  We plan to reschedule this event for later this month.  Thank you for your cooperation, participation and support this week!

Snowcoming tickets are on sale in the Business office. Student tickets are $5 each if purchased at the business office. The dance tickets can be purchased on the night of the dance for $10 each. Only Senior high school students will be allowed to purchase dance tickets the night of the dance.

Students bringing a guest from another school will pay $10 for one ticket. The guest ticket will be for the Senior High School student and guest entry to the dance. ALL Guest tickets must be purchase by 3:00 pm on Thursday, Feb. 7th.  That’s tomorrow why not BUY your Guest ticket today! 

Men's Track and Field Preseason Meeting has been moved to Thursday, February 7th at 2:30 in the cafeteria.  All athletes that need to take the impact test will meet TODAY Wednesday in A307 after school.   Athletes will be made aware of the track and field policies, team goals, and event sign-up.  Official practice will start Monday February 11th.  We will meet in the Locker room next to the track.

STUDENTS – if you’re thinking of going out for Track & Field this spring, get signed up NOW in the Activities Office!!  Practices start February 11th.  Even if you’re currently in a sport, stop by the Activities Office and get signed up.  TRACK & FIELD – starts the beginning of February.

Ram Family:   The 10th Annual Senior Basketball Pink Out will be Friday, February 1st against Wahlert. This year the proceeds for the Pink Out will go to the Ben and Amy Schroeder Family.

Pink Out T-Shirts will be available to order online through Friday, January 25th at Noon.  Do NOT wait to order your shirts, as there will not be any extras available.  Let’s FILL the GYM with PINK!!
