Are you interested in joining the Battle of the books
team? We have made it to State three out
of the last four years and are looking to go to Marshalltown again this
year! We will have an informational
meeting in the library on Tuesday October 8th at 7:15, or stop by
and talk with Mrs. Bontemps for more information.
Beginning Monday, October 7th we will be selling
additional yearbooks on a first come first serve basis. We have a VERY limited number of 8 yearbooks
available to sell. You may come before
school on Monday beginning at 7:15 to purchase.
Please note that we do not have a waiting list.
Rams, Homecoming is here!
•Todays dress up day is Spirit Out so wear your Ram Fam
gear! The Homecoming assembly will start at 11 in Nora gym. The homecoming
parade will begin at 1:30 downtown. Thursday night is the Powerpuff games!
Freshmen vs. Sophomore game will start at 7:00pm and the Junior vs. Senior game
will begin right after the first game is finished. Don't forget that the Happi
Hibachi food truck will arrive at 6:00pm!

Homecoming Tickets are $15 for SENIOR students only at
the door. All students MUST
be in the dance by 8:00pm. Be sure to Bring your ID.
If you are a junior and interested in taking the PSAT
this year, there is still time to sign-up.
You will need to bring $17 in cash/or check made out to Dubuque Senior
High School to the Business Office by the end of the day on October 7th. You will receive a receipt, which you will
take to the Counseling Office to sign up.

The Discovery Club will be traveling to Maquoketa Caves
on Sunday, October 13th from noon to 3:30pm.
Cave exploring, hiking, nature investigations, and fun will be the name
of the game. Come and join us. Details will be available at 7:15am on
Thursdays in B233. Come and get a
permission form.
Juniors & Seniors:
We have 30 spots left on the University of Northern Iowa Tour on October
10. Sign up as soon as possible in the
Counseling Office.
