FLOWERGRAM SALES: Friday, February 1st will be the last day for Flowergram sales. Please come to the StuCo Zone during your lunch to buy Flowergrams. They are $1.00 a piece or 6 for $5.00.

SCIENCE BOWL COMPETITION: Competition and practice for Dubuque Senior's 2014 Science Bowl Team will begin on Tuesday, February 5th at 2:30 p.m. in room B241. We will go until 3:30. At least three new team members are needed and we will be using a new set of Academic Quiz questions to identify our best science knowledge masters. Come test your Science Quotient - all areas of science, from biology to meteorology, geology and astronomy are needed.

THE STUDENT BUILT HOUSE PROJECT IS BACK!!
Attention: Any former or current Construction student.

After being gone for several years, the Student Built House Project is going to be back for next school year. If you are a student who has taken any Construction classes, or has a strong Construction background, and would be interested in taking the Student House Project, please see Mr. Kress or your guidance counselor for details. This is a yearlong course that has Senior High credits as well as NICC college credits. Register for this class along with your other classes. Spots are limited.

UPPER ROOM MEETING: We welcome students to join us every Friday at 7 am in the gym lobby. Get there early for a game and treats!

BUS REMINDER: Please make sure you have your student ID to ride the Jule. If not, you will have to pay the fee of .50. Written notes from the office will no longer be accepted by the Jule.

SENIOR PICTURES FOR YEARBOOK: Thank you to all seniors who submitted yearbook photos. Those who still would like to submit a photo may do so by emailing your photo to pwolfe@dbqschools.org, however, the longer you wait, the less chance you will have to make the deadline for the yearbook... so keep the photos coming, but there is no guarantee.

Photos must be full-color, vertical, head and shoulders with enough space around the person's head that it will appear correctly on the page. If a photo will not work for the yearbook, the student's school photo will be used.

SADIE HAWKINS DANCE DATE CHANGE: Attention to all students planning to attend the 2013 Sadie Hawkins Dance! Due to a scheduling conflict, it will now take place on March 2nd in the Nora Gym from 8 PM – 11PM. The theme will be “Cupid Shuffle.” Thank you for your flexibility!!

SADIE HAWKINS GUEST FORMS: Sadie Hawkins Dance is March 2nd. If you think you would like to bring a guest who does not attend Senior High School, please stop in the AP office to pick up a guest form. The forms need to be returned to the AP office by Friday, February 22nd.

TALENT SHOW: If you enjoy the thrill of performing, come and audition for the 2013 Dubuque Senior Talent Show. We need talented singers, dancers and performers of all kinds. The talent show gives you a chance to stand in the spotlight and earn great prizes. If you are interested in auditioning for the talent show, sign up for a 10-minute time slot today in the AP’s office. Auditions will be held on Monday, February 4th from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, February 5th from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. The 2013 Talent Show will be held on Thursday, February 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.
