We are partnering with the Carnegie Stout Public Library to offer students public library cards! (You could get one too if you don't have one!) I did this last year with them and it worked really well. While our students will have access and training to Destiny and Keystone, there are a lot more services that come with a public library card as well that I will be offering training on and encouraging them to use. These are great for everyone, not just college bound students. Only students who live in city limits are eligible for a full library card. Those outside city limits can get a restricted card but can not use the online resources. (However, I will show you a completely legal work around for county kids if you want your whole class working with online research in vetted databases- they will just have to follow a different process.)

Please email jbontemps@dbqschools.org if you are interested by Sept. 19th.
