STUDENT NEWS

The Ram Wrestling team lost a tough fought battle to Cedar Rapids Prairie last night. Winning matches on JV for the Rams were Andrew O'Hare, Paul Kass, Anthony King, Simon Benson, Dylan Dean

The Varsity was lead by tough performances from Luke Busch, Isaac Cretsinger, Declan Sisler, and Nate Siegworth  all by pins. The varsity Rams are seeking to come back strong tomorrow as they compete in their first tournament of the season.

Student Council Freshmen Elections are right around the corner! If you have any interest in running and learning more about what student council does stop by C120 (the STUCO room across from the cafeteria!) on December 4 and 5 during A or D study for more information. We hope to see you there!

Do you like to decorate for the season?  Think event set up may be your calling?  Just want a reason to get out of the house?  Or even better - need some Silver Cord hours?  Come volunteer on Monday, December 3rd from 6-9pm at the Masonic Temple and help the music department set up for the 40th Annual Madrigal Dinner.   We can use your help and if you are not part of the performance group presenting the show you can earn 3 Silver Cord hours for helping out!  See Ms. King in B64 for more information or to sign up!  Walk ins are welcome on Monday night as well!  Come decorate a tree and set up a table, the more hands make lighter work happen with Ram Fam power.  See you Monday, Dec 3rd!

We are looking for peer leaders to be experts on the items in the Makerspace, including coding materials, a sewing machine, a cricut, and more.  If you are willing to learn and train other on these items, please stop by the library and talk to Mrs. Bontemps.

Students and Staff – Have you noticed a lock of Rampages in your classrooms?  That’s because we’ve gone fully online!!  To check out our stories, visit dshsrampage.org !  Be sure to follow us on Twitter as well to be alerted of new stories as soon as they are posted.  Follow us at   @DSHSRampageEcho

SHOW YOUR RAM PRIDE – RAM APPAREL IS NOW AVAILABLE!!

If you need to get some holiday shopping done – look no further!
RAM APPAREL is available for you to purchase from the Booster Club (this is different than the staff apparel that was sent out last week)!!!

Sweatshirts – T-shirts (short and long sleeved) – Warm Knit Caps Fleece Jackets – Baseball Style Caps – Soft Shell Jackets – Bucket Hats

Here’s how it works.

There is NOT an online store anymore.  ALL apparel is on-site here at Senior.  It is in the Booster Club “storage room” across from the Activities Office, meaning it’s not a store that you can walk into and “browse” (if that makes sense).

Go to the link below and look at what is available.  If you see something you want, let me know what color/size/etc you want, and I can get it out of the Booster Club room for you as soon as I’m able.  It’s difficult for me to go over to the room before or after school because of student needs during those times.
