1,500 people will be diagnosed with cancer today. Local charity, Covers of Comfort helps those cancer patients by providing them with blankets to wear during chemo therapy. Student Council will once again be making blankets to donate on behalf of the student body. You can help by participating in our Coins of Comfort penny drive. Bring any extra change to the STUCO Zone during all lunches to get put in a raffle for many prizes. Prizes include free dance tickets, Senior T-shirts, and Lunch with Dr. Johnson. You could also win the chance to Pie a teacher in the face. Remember each donation gets you a raffle ticket so bring your spare change to lunch this week!

You better start practicing!!  Student council will be hosting the 4th annual Euchre tournament on November 30th from 6-8pm in the Library! Grab a partner and sign up to play in the guidance office! All students and staff wanting to participate must know the rules prior to the Tournament.

Movember campaign: Grow a Mo save a bro: The state of men’s health is in crisis. Men experience worse longer-term health than women and die on average six years earlier. Prostate cancer rates will double in the next 15 years. Testicular cancer rates have already doubled in the last 50. Three quarters of suicides are men. Poor mental health leads to half a million men taking their own life every year. That’s one every minute. If you’re a male student or teacher and would like to participate please contact Mr. Dolson know in i-JAG. It’s easy, grow a moustache and get your picture taken to help support men’s health.

Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing this health crisis and it’s not being talked about. We can’t afford to stay silent. We’re taking action and need your help!
