4th ANNUAL PINK OUT: The 4th Annual Pink Out against breast cancer will be held on Friday, December 21st at the home game against Hempstead. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society in honor of Senior teacher Dale Russell who is currently undergoing treatment for lung cancer. Wear your pink and join us at the game to support this worthy cause!

SPECIAL OLYMPICS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The Iowa Special Olympics Winter Games are coming to Dubuque and they are in need of some volunteer ski instructors. The dates are January 14 and January 15, 2013. If any student is interested in this opportunity, please stop by the Activities office to get the contact information.

ATTENTION SENIORS: The Graduate Panel will take place during 4th hour TODAY in the Auditorium. With teacher approval, you can come to the aud during 4th hour and meet with some recent graduates to hear about their experiences with senior year and beyond! Any questions about this, contact the Guidance Office. College represented include: Iowa, UNI, Iowa State and Drake University

UPPER ROOM MEETING: We will meet on THURSDAY this week at 7 am in the gym lobby. We will have fun singing Christmas carols! We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ at Christmas!

The cost of a t-shirt is $10. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society in honor of Senior teacher Dale Russell who is currently undergoing treatment for lung cancer.

CONGRATULATIONS!: US Representative Bruce Braley has nominated Madison Davis for the US Naval Academy and the US Airforce Academy. He has also nominated Blaine Tunnell for the US Airforce Academy and the US Military Academy. Each year Mr. Braley can nominate up to 10 students from Iowa's 1st Congressional district. Congratulations to Madison Davis and Blaine Tunnell!

T-SHIRT CONTEST: In an effort to reveal our school Touch Stone, along with increasing engagement and student participation, we will be having a school wide T-shirt Competition. The competition will be sponsored by the Iowa Safe and Supportive School Grant.

Guidelines

Must use Ram Fam Touchstone somewhere in your design.
Can be hand drawn or Computer generated
Design should use the front and back on the t-shirt
Must be done on a 8/10 sheet of paper
Contest is only open to Senior students and staff.
No drugs, sex, profanity or alcohol references. Any entries submitted with such will be disqualified.

Colors:
T-shirts will be Red
Design will be in white & Blue

Submission Deadline.
Competition Dates
12/18/12- 1/22/13

All designs will be looked over and the winner will be determined by January 25, 2013

If you are a 9th grader and you are not sure if the health office has your certificate, stop by the nurse’s office today and check with them.

ICE SKATING OUTING: The French, German & Spanish club will be going ice-skating on Dec. 16 which is a Sunday from 3-5pm. It is $5 to get in and another $2.50 if you need to rent skates. Please sign up with your club's adviser.
