STUDENT NEWS

Congratulations to the Men’s Tennis team with their 7-2 win over Cedar Rapids Kennedy yesterday – Great job Rams!!

The Senior Girls Golf team took 3rd place in the SuperMeet, consisting of 14 teams.  Finishing in 1st places for the team and overall was Abby Marting shooting a 78. Followed by Breanna Felderman who placed 4 overall. Followed by teammates Claire Siegert who shot a 97 and Ellie Akins shooting a 104.

After today's meet the scores will be divided into 2 divisionals Senior leads it's divisional by 1 shot.

After today's round they will play 2 divisionals. The first being played next Monday at the Meadows.

The Gay Straight Alliance will meet in room E45 on May 3rd at 7:05am. We will continue to view portions of The Out List and discuss the potlock. Hope to see you there!

This just in… Student Council elections are just around the corner! If you or someone you know is interested in being a student leader, stop in to room B-138 on May 8th and 9th, during A and D study, for an interested candidates meeting. As a Council, we strive to represent the student body and create an enjoyable, exciting and unified school community. So, if you are interested, swing by our information meeting.

Reminder to those AP Students taking the AP Exams this May...you need to pay for the exam in our Business Office ASAP.  If you have questions, please see Ms. Lawrence in room D154.

Are you taking the ACT in JUNE? Or maybe just sometime in the future? Come join us for FREE ACT prep session next week! Jason Derby will be back to give you great ACT prep strategies for FREE after school in A219 on Mondays and Wednesdays starting May 14th and ending May 23rd.

Swiss Colony in Peosta is looking for summer help.  You must be 16 to be a lineworker and must be 18 to be a forklift driver.   Wages are between $11 and $16 an hour depending on the job.   Apply by calling 80048SWISS.

Do you like to work outside in the construction field?  Would you like "on the job training" while earning money?  If so, Evergreen Construction Co is seeking individuals 16 or older who are responsible, willing to learn, and are ambitious.  They will train you how to assemble building materials used for construction.
