STUDENT NEWS

Attention Juniors from the Class of 2019!!! If you would like to volunteer to be on the graduation committee, please stop in the main office and sign up with Ms. McCaw. We will have at least a meeting this school year.

10th and 11th Graders, If you are interested in being a Student Leader for the Respect Retreat NEXT YEAR, please sign up in the cafeteria this Friday during all lunches.  If you have questions, please see Mrs. Brokus in the AP office.

Parking Lottery sign up for next year has begun!!  Student’s that will be 12th grade for the 2018-19 school year may stop by the AP office and sign up for the parking lottery.  Names will be announced in August at Registration, for students that will be able to purchase parking stickers. 

 COUNSELORS OFFICE

Are you taking the ACT in JUNE? Or maybe just sometime in the future? Come join us for FREE ACT prep session next week! Jason Derby will be back to give you great ACT prep strategies for FREE after school in B149 on Mondays and Wednesdays starting May 14th and ending May 23rd.

Here is the schedule:

Monday, May 14th English
Wednesday, May 16th Reading
Monday, May 21st Science
Wednesday, May 23rd Math
Please sign up in the School Counseling Office so we can prepare for how many students we might have.

FOOTBALL MEETING:  There will be a meeting for everyone planning on going out for football next fall in the Cafeteria Wednesday, May 16th from 2:30-3:15.  All interested in going out or being a manager please attend this meeting.  If you can not make it due to another sport please see Coach Ploessl to get all the handouts.  Summer workouts, fall schedule, and summer camp will be discussed at the meeting.  Go RAMS!!! 


ACTIVITIES

Student/Athletes – were you given a padlock to use during your sports season?  If so, you need to return the padlock to the Activities office or you may be charged for it.  Thank you!

Attention Volleyball players – there will be NO OPEN GYM this Sunday, May 13th – please enjoy the day with your families!


JOBS

Interested in summer work with a flexible schedule and a bonus?  Crystal Lake Cave is looking for 4 tour guides.  Must be 15 or older -  you will get paid training and then $8.50 an hour plus tips and a bonus.  More info stop in counseling office.

Dubuque Conservation Department is looking for youth to work at the Mines of Spain from June 11 to July 20. Wages are $8.50 an hour - you must commit to a 40-hour workweek.
