Are you thinking of applying to a selective school
after graduation? Do you wonder what
that process is like or how you might make yourself stand out? Think about attending an informational
session hosted by Hempstead High School on Monday, September 16th
from 7-8:30pm. Admissions
representatives from MIT, Yale, Caltech and Pomona will be there to offer
information about their schools, but could help you understand what selective
schools might be looking for!
There is no cost to attend and no need to register in
advance! If you would like more information, please see Mrs. Fischer in B234.
Seniors---there will be a MANDATORY senior class
meeting on Tuesday, September 17th during Support time in the
Cafeteria.
Attention Juniors & Seniors : DSHA will visit the
University of Iowa on Thursday, September 26th and the University of
Northern Iowa on Thursday, October 10th. If you are a junior or senior with a 3.0+ GPA
and are interested, stop by the school counseling office to pick –up a
permission form. The first 50 students
to register to each event will be able to go.
Students – if you purchased an Activity Pass, you
should have a Capitol D in the lower right hand corner of your ID. If you do not, please stop down to the
Activities Office so we can issue you a correct ID.
There will be a Model UN meeting Today, September 13th during Support Time. If you are interested in participating this
year sign up for the session. If you are
unable to attend, see Ms. Weiland in B129 during the day.
If you picked up your computer at registration and do
not have a barcode on your adapter, please bring your cord to the library to
have this added.

swing, every Friday morning at 7:30am.
