Homecoming Week
•Mondays dress up day will be Decades day so dress up
as your favorite decade! We will also be hosting a movie night in the
auditorium from 6:00 to 8:00 pm where we will be watching Back to the Future.
•Tuesdays dress up day will be Sock Hop where you wear
your wacky socks. The morning of we will also be having donuts in the cafeteria
from 7:00-7:30am.
•Wednesdays dress up day will be Back to the Future
where you wear trends that are coming back! There will be no night events
Wednesday night.
•Thursdays dress up day will be a Spirit Out so wear
your Ram Fam gear! The Homecoming assembly will start at 11 in Nora gym. The
homecoming parade will begin at 1:30 downtown. Thursday night is the Powerpuff
games! Freshmen vs. Sophomore game will startat 7:00pm and the Junior vs.
Senior game will begin right after the first game is finished. Don't forget
that the Happi Hibachi food truck will arrive at 6:00pm!
Homecoming tickets are on sale now. Guest tickets will
be on sale until Wednesday, October 2, 3:00pm. Tickets are $10 for students and
$20 for the student and their guest. Tickets are $15 for Senior students only
at the door. Must be in the dance by 8:00pm. Be sure to Bring your ID.
To clarify a few points regarding the
sale of Homecoming Tickets.
- Tickets will be sold 7:00am until 7:30am
each morning and 2:20-3:00 in the afternoon.
- Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria
next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during all three lunches.
- Tickets will NOT be sold during class time or SUPPORT TIME. Please do not send students to the Business Office, they will be sent back.
STUDENT NEWS
The Discovery Club will be traveling to Maquoketa Caves
on Sunday, October 13th from noon to 3:30pm.
Cave exploring, hiking, nature investigations, and fun will be the name
of the game. Come and join us. Details will be available at 7:15am on
Thursdays in B233. Come and get a permission
form.
If you are a junior and interested in taking the PSAT
this year, you can begin to sign up. The
last day to register is Sept. 30th.
You will need to bring $17 in cash/or check made out to Dubuque Senior
High School to the Business Office. You
will receive a receipt, which you will take to the Counseling Office to sign
up. If you have any questions, please
contact Ms. Rupp in the Counseling Office.
Juniors & Seniors:
We have 30 spots left on the University of Northern Iowa Tour on October
10. Sign up as soon as possible in the
Counseling Office.
