Attention
writers and artists. The Dubuque Area Writers Guild is currently accepting
submissions for their annual Gallery book project. Works of poetry, fiction,
nonfiction, artwork and photography are all eligible. If interested, please see
Mrs. Williams in A213 for details. Deadline is April 1st!
LOST and FOUND:
Found Items are plying up in the Plans Room, please stop in to see if
any of these ITEMS are yours. We have
lunch boxes to winter coats and everything in between. Any items left behind will be taken to
Goodwill on Thursday.
Stop by the
Library and Vote for your favorite Iowa High School Book this week. You can also nominate books you would like to
see added to future lists!
With our
extended school day, the library will also have extended hours. The Library is now open from
7:00-3:20pm.
Attention Seniors! Jostens will be back at school on
Tuesday, March 19th outside the cafeteria to deliver your graduation
items. Please know that all bills must
be paid in full prior to picking up your graduation items. Cash or money orders are the only forms of
payment excepted at school on Tuesday, IF you would like to pay by credit card
please call 1-800-Jostens
If you have not ordered a yearbook, now is the time to
do so! Ordering closes at 11:59pm on
March 31, 2019. Books are $50 and can be
purchased online through the student payment portal or by going directly to the
business office during school hours. The
business office can accept cash or check.

Juniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher -
please be sure to visit Mrs. Fischer if you were not able to attend last week's
meeting about the NHS selection process.
Candidate information forms need to be returned by Friday either to Mrs.
Fischer in B234 or Mrs. Ruden in the AP Office.
NICC is now accepting registration for
driver's education sessions that begin in March and June. Registration
must be done through NICC. Please stop by the Business Office or the
Counseling Center for information on how to register with NICC.

Senior’s Got Talent is TONIHGT! Tickets will be $3 for students and $5 for
adults. The Art Show will begin at 6:00
p.m. outside of the auditorium and the Talent Show will be at 7:00 p.m. with
doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

Students of this year’s Graduating class.
This
year’s Senior High Awards Assembly will be on Monday May 20th, 2019
at 7:00 p.m. in the Senior High Auditorium. We have a variety of
scholarships (Memorial, Community/School, and Specific College Sponsored) that
are available for our Senior High graduating students in the class of
2019.
Applications
were emailed to your parents last week. If you did not see that email,
please stop by The School Counseling Office to have an application sent to your
email address. There will be a sign up sheet that you will need to put
your name and email address. Mrs. Lawrence will then send you the
electronic application to complete.
You
will need to fill out our application form electronically and electronically
submit the completed PDF application to Mrs. Lawrence at llawrence@dbqschools.org by Wednesday March 20th,
2019 at 2:30 p.m. No late applications will be accepted.

There will be a Pre-Season Women’s Soccer meeting on Friday, March 15th
@ 3:00 pm in the Cafeteria.
There will be a BASEBALL Parent/Player Meeting on Thursday, April 4th
from 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm in the Cafeteria.
Come meet the coaches and find out what paperwork you need to have
turned in to the Activities Office to join the Rams Baseball Team! Official practice starts on April 29th.
Are you interested in CHEERING on your RAMS next school year? If so, you will want to try out for our
Cheerleading Squad!! Tryouts for NEXT
school year will begin on Thursday, March 14th.
There is a packet of information that you need to have filled out and
turned in to our cheer coach before the 14th.

Students – are you
going out for a Spring Sport? If so, get
signed up now in the Activities Office to make sure you have all of the
required paperwork that is needed. Women’s Soccer starts on March 18th. Get signed up TODAY!! There will be a Women’s Tennis meeting on
Monday, March 18th @ 6:00pm in the STUCO Room.

Mercy One is
looking for a dietary assistant – 12-18 hours weekly. 4-7pm. Must be 16 – no experience needed. $12 per hour. Great hours and place to work!
