PSAT TESTING: All juniors who plan to take the PSAT test should sign up in the guidance office. Please bring your $20 cash or check (payable to Senior High School) to the guidance office when signing up. The test will be administered 1st thru 6th hour on Wednesday, October 17th.

CAREER EXPLORATION FOR FUTURE ENGINEERS: The Engineering Explorer Post is starting at John Deere. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to work with engineers in the Virtual Reality Lab. You will learn how future engineers will design machines and participate in hands on experiments. Meetings will be held monthly for 2-3 hours. Spots are limited - only accepting 15 students! Applications are due on Oct. 4th. Stop in guidance for more info.

HOMECOMING COURT VOTING: Homecoming Court voting is open to all Dubuque Senior High School students! The ballot opens at NOON on September 24th and closes at NOON on September 28th. Please vote for Homecoming Court by clicking on "Resources" to the left, and then by clicking on "Student Body Voting Link".

HOMECOMING KING AND QUEEN VOTING: Voting for Homecoming King and Queen will open at NOON on Monday, October 1st, and will close at NOON on Friday, October 5th. Only Seniors will be eligible to vote for King and Queen.

SPANISH CLUB MEETING: Spanish club will meet on Thursday, September 27th at 7:15 and again at 2:30 p.m. in room E-43. You only need to come to one of the meetings. If you are thinking about joining, this is your last chance! Be sure to bring your $2 in dues if you have not done so already. We will be discussing elections and tutoring as well as homecoming. VOLLEYBALL PINK OUT: Next Tuesday, October 2nd is our volleyball match against Dubuque Hempstead. It is also our annual "Pink Out" in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. We will be selling T-shirts and all money raised will go to the American Cancer Society.

If you would like to order a shirt please let one of the volleyball players know or email Brett Myres, bmyres@dbqschools.org, your shirt sizes. T-shirts will be sold for $10. Thanks again for helping us support this cause.

UPPER ROOM MEETING: We had a nutty time playing, "Spell my Feet" last week! The Upper Room club welcomes Tim Wagner this week as our speaker! He always has a great message! Join us at 7 am Friday morning in the gym lobby. We always have treats! Come right away at 7 am for " 5 minutes of Craziness".

HOMECOMING DANCE REMINDER: The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 13th. If you think you would like to bring a guest who does not attend Senior High School, please stop in the AP office to pick up a guest form. The forms need to be returned by Tuesday, October 9th.
