ACTIVITIES
On Saturday, the Ram Girls' Cross-Country Team
established their place as one of the finest cross-country teams in Iowa by
placing 2nd in the Iowa Class 4A State Cross-Country Meet. Junior Lillian Schmidt finished 3rd overall as the Rams' top performer; Lily's
3rd place finish matches the best individual performance in the history of
Senior Cross-Country. Senior Claire Edmondson ran a
beautiful final race of her illustrious career, finishing 7th place
overall. Junior sensation Izzy Gorton surged to an
18th place finish, narrowly missing individual all-state honors in an inspired
performance. Seniors Kate Miron (46th) and Grace Ries (48th) cinched the Rams' runner-up finish by running the
finest races of their careers. Senior Josie
Stackis (72nd) and Lucy Tompkins-Garoutte (77th) were
both the fastest 6th and 7th runners in the State of Iowa, capping off
incredible seasons.
Both Lillian and Claire were named to the Elite All-State XC Team, and
Grace Ries was named as a member of the prestigious Academic All-State team.
The team would like to thank all of the RamFam who made their way over to
Ft. Dodge on Saturday to cheer us on! We are so proud to race for Dubuque
Senior High School!

This is an invitation for you to come to Open Wrestling, on Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 6pm. We wrestle to improve or just try it out. This year will go to 7 separate girls only tournaments. Any questions ask Coach Connolly in Room E10.
There will be a Men’s Basketball informational meeting TODAY Tuesday, November 5th at 2:30p.m. in the school cafeteria. The meeting will take approximately 30 minutes.

Students – it’s NOW time to sign up for WINTER SPORTS!!!! Even if you are currently in a sport and are going to be doing a winter sport – you need to sign up now!! Come to the Activities Office to make sure you have all of the required paperwork needed to sign up. Don’t wait until the last day! The following sports start on November 11th – Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Bowling, and Men’s Swimming. The following sports start on November 18th – Men’s Basketball, Wrestling, and Winter Cheerleading (yes, cheerleaders you need to let us know if you’re switching to winter cheer!!).

Attention
math enthusiasts: Senior will compete in the Team Scramble competition
on Thursday November 7th during Support time. This is a team competition consisting of 100
math problems in 30 minutes. All levels
are welcome! Sign up in FlexTime with
Mrs. Ward in D160 or talk to your math teacher.
