Want to earn
money by doing math? Consider participating in the Trig Star math contest on
April 18th from 9am - 11am. See Mrs. Goranson in A321 for more information
Model UN
participated in the UNI Conference on April 5-6. With over 450 students in
attendance, Senior represented. 4 students received recognition for outstanding
position paper earning a 96% or higher on their paper: Jillian Manternach, Anna
Brondyke, Jenna Meehan, and Kalie Sigman. 3 students received recognition for
Outstanding Delegate out of the 14 available for their work at the conference:
Ben Schultz, El Taverna, and Hudson Koehler. Congratulate them on their hard
work.
There will be a
final Model UN meeting for the school year, this Friday, April 13 at 8:15 am in
B129. Current members, including Seniors and students interested for next year
should attend.
Any senior
playing for the Senior High baseball team this summer can pick up a Scott
Althoff Scholarship application from Mr. Fleming inn room A-211. This is a $500
scholarship in honor of former Ram Scott Alhtoff who was killed in a hit and
run accident. Applications are due back to Mr. Fleming by April 24.
Attention Seniors:
There will be a Voter Registration Booth outside of the Cafeteria April 9th-13th during
the lunch period. You must be 17.5 years
old to register, you will need your driver’s license and social security number
to complete this process.
Renaissance Alert! We are now in the last quarter of the
year, so please stop by the AP office to pick up your Renaissance Card with
awesome sponsor’s like our new one Chik Fil A, where you get a free sandwich
once a quarter. Also, if you haven’t gotten your Renaissance t-shirt yet stop
while supplies last!
Students who
requested a PE exemption for 2018-2019.
If you have not filled out an Exemption Request form, please pick one up
in the main office or Counseling office.
These need to be signed by a parent and returned to the main
office. If the form isn't returned to
the main office by Friday, April 13th you will be added to a Wellness class.
STUCO ZONE
Baseball: Pitchers and Catchers will still be tomorrow (Thursday) with a slight time change from 6:30 to 9 at Kzone.
Prom tickets are on sale NOW!! Tickets can be purchased beginning today in the business office. Senior student Only tickets are $15 when purchased in advance or $20 at the door. Guest tickets must be purchased before 3pm on Wednesday, April 18th and are $30.

Activities Office and attend the following Player/Parent Meetings (even if you
are in a spring sport):

during A or D study time. This week's topic will be College Discovery: How to
find the Best Option for you! Please
schedule yourself through FlexiSched.
This session is
best suited for Juniors, but Sophomores are welcome!
JOBS
Do you like to
work outside in the construction field?
Would you like "on the job training" while earning money? If so, Evergreen Construction Co is seeking
individuals 16 or older who are responsible, willing to learn, and are
ambitious. They will train you how to
assemble building materials used for construction. No prior experience
necessary - just the right attitude and work ethic. If this sounds like something, you would like
to do - stop in the counseling office - in D152 for more information.
Stonehill
Nursing is seeking part time workers to fill dietary aide position and CNA
positions. Must be 16. If you need more info - stop into the School
Counseling office now in Rm D152.
Dubuque Golf
and Country Club is looking for part time workers In the dining area. Must be 16-18. Pay is $8.50 an hour.
