Seniors! The Echo Yearbook Staff needs your senior pictures! The following guidelines must be met for the photo to be included.

Photographs must be in color and have been taken with a traditional camera. Pictures from a cellular phone become very pixelated and will not appear properly. It must be a “raw” photo. No Photoshop or other editing as photos that have undergone this process are a smaller file size and will not print properly. Photograph must be a head shot. Hands should be down and away from the face so as not to obscure the subject. Top/shirt must have straps.

If an acceptable photo has not been received by January 15, your identification card photo will be used.

Photos may be emailed to dubuquesenior@gmail.com or sjackman@dbqschools.com. Please see any Echo staff member or Mrs. Jackman in room E45 with questions.

The library will be closed TODAY from 7:30-2:20 for ITP testing. We will be open before and after school.

Covers of Comfort is getting under way. Help us make blankets to keep people warm during their treatment and along the cancer journey. More information to come later this week!

Project Kids! 5th hour classes! Please join us in giving to the Dubuque Community during this holiday season. Sign-up sheets were placed in teacher mailboxes. Please turn them in by November 4th.

Student Council members will be visiting throughout the week during 5th hour study time on Monday, Thursday, or Friday to provide more information on both of these endeavors.

Student/Athletes
If you participated in a Fall Sport and you were assigned an athletic locker – you NEED to have your lockers cleaned out NO LATER than Thursday, November 5th (with the exception of Football Players who are using a Caged Locker – you do NOT need to clean your lockers out). Boys – make sure you return the padlocks that were given to you to the Activities Office.

EVEN if you are participating in a Winter Sport – you NEED to clean your lockers out and return your padlocks!

Anything left in lockers after Friday, November 6th will be removed.
Thank you for your cooperation and help as we get ready for our Winter Sports season!

“If you are currently taking a science class and want to attend the field trip to the Shedd Aquarium and Planetarium in Chicago on November 16th, there are a few seats still available. If you have not gotten a permission slip, see Mr. Kohl in B233 today during 5th or 6th hour and let him know who your science teacher is. Permission slips and payment will be turned into the business office. It is first come first serve for the remaining spots. All permission slips and payments are due by this Wednesday.”

Seniors – Do you have a sibling who is a freshman? Freshmen, do you have a sibling who is a senior? If so, then come down to the yearbook room, E45, to have your picture taken. Plan what you would like to do before coming; wear similar clothes, pick out funny hats, or a striking pose.

Twins – the same goes for you! Come together and get your photo taken for the yearbook.
If you would like your photo to appear in the yearbook, you must have your picture taken by the Echo staff by November 20th.
