STUDENT NEWS

Parking Lottery sign up for next year has begun.  Student’s that will be in 12th grade for the 2019-20 school year may stop by the AP Office and sign up for the parking Lottery.  Names will be announced in August at Registration, for students that will be able to purchase parking stickers. 

We will have open wrestling on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school for anyone, that would like to try wrestling and get a workout.  Any questions see, Coach Connolly

Attention All Students:   If you plan to take a Physical Education Athletic Exemption for the 2019-20 school year, you need to complete an exemption form.  These forms are available in the Counseling Office.

In order to receive a physical education exemption at Dubuque Community Schools, students must be involved in TWO SPORTS.

Please complete and return these forms to the Counseling Office by May 21st.  If an exemption form is not turned in, a PE Class will be added to our schedule.

StuCo Elections for the 2019-2020 school year are right around the corner! If you're interested in representing your school, taking on a leadership role, planning events, and meeting fun people, come to a candidate meeting to learn more information about the election process and the purpose of student council. There will be candidate meetings TODAY, May 9 in the StuCo room, C120, during support time as well as before school at 7:10a.m. on the 9th. Flexisched to Mr. Leytem to attend. 

Come and join the Dubuque Senior High School Cheerleading Team for a day of full of cheering, jumping, dancing, stunting, eating and having fun with your friends.

 Who:  Pre-K through 7th Grade (2018-19 school year)

Register:  9:30 - 10:00am
Camp: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Cost: $40.00 per Camper /includes pizza, snacks, t-shirt, & poms
Parent performance:  door opens at 3:30 pm
Admission at the door for the performance
Students to Adults:  $2.00
4 yrs. & under:  Free

If you registered for any NICC Concurrent Courses for the 2019-2020 school year, we will have a mandatory meeting TODAY, MAY 9th. You will receive a note to remind you of this meeting.

These courses include ALL CNA & Health Care courses, ALL NICC Welding Courses, Customer Services Strategies and ALL Early Childhood Courses.

DRIVERS ED:  NICC is now accepting registration for driver's education sessions that begin in June.  Registration must be done through NICC.  Please stop by the Business Office or the Counseling Center for information on how to register with NICC.
