Senior Women
Golf played in the final leg of the city meet.
They took first place yesterday by one stoke shooting a 353, but fell
short of the title to Wahlert.
Winning the
title and scoring first for Dubuque Senier was Abby Marting with a 74-76,
followed b Breanna Felderman tied for third place with a 87-77, followed by Leah Sullivan
with a 96-93
and Lillian Donath with a 97-107.

Women’s Swim/Dive: There will be an
informational meeting for all girls interested in swimming or diving for Senior
next fall on Friday, May 24 after school in Coach Huff’s room B142. Information and schedules for the season will
be distributed at that time. If you are
unable to attend the meeting but are still interested in joining the team,
contact Coach Huff before the end of the school year.
Football: There
will be a football meeting in the cafeteria after school Monday May 20th
for anyone interested in going out for football next fall. Please contact Coach Ploessl if you can not
make it.
AP US History: Any students who will be
taking AP US History NEXT school year, there will be a brief meeting for
2019-2020 AP US History students on May 22 after school or May 23 before school
in B129 to discuss course requirements and pick up summer homework.
Parking Lottery sign up for next year has begun.
Student’s that will be in 12th grade for the 2019-20 school
year may stop by the AP Office and sign up for the parking Lottery. Names will be announced in August at
Registration, for students that will be able to purchase parking stickers.
Bicycle World
is looking for part time help for the summer MUST BE 14. Some sales, customer service and minor bike
repairs. Comes with incentives and good
product discounts. Stop in counseling
office or stop in Bicycle World on Central for an application.
PetersonKreiss-
PK- Construction is looking for candidates who want to learn a trade while
being paid to build. Requirements are a
strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and willing to learn. Pay is based on experience with room for
advancement. Stop in counseling office
or check out bulletin board for contact name and # which you can text or call.
Attention All Students: If you plan to take a Physical Education
Athletic Exemption for the 2019-20 school year, you need to complete an
exemption form. These forms are
available in the Counseling Office.
In order to
receive a physical education exemption at Dubuque Community Schools, students
must be involved in TWO SPORTS.
Please complete
and return these forms to the Counseling Office by May 21st. If an exemption form is not turned in, a PE
Class will be added to our schedule.
DRIVERS ED: NICC
is now accepting registration for driver's education sessions that begin in
June. Registration must be done through
NICC. Please stop by the Business Office
or the Counseling Center for information on how to register with NICC.
