STUDENT NEWS

Key Club is collecting critically needed items for the Dubuque Rescue Mission TONIGHT and Friday during the wrestling meet sophomore and varsity basketball games.

If you would like to contribute, but are not attending these events, Key Club members can come to your room Friday morning to gather them.

Items in greatest need now are Folgers coffee, liquid laundry detergent for high efficiency washers, under arm deodorant, hairbrushes, shampoo, razors, shaving gel, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.

Of course, cash is also an option.

Registration forms for the next session of Driver’s Ed will be available beginning Monday, December 17th.  You may pick up registration forms from the Business Office or the Counseling Center. 

Congratulations to this week's Penny Drive raffle winners: Baylee Coberley, Jasslee Shaffer, and Anna Witthoft. Make sure to stop by the Student Council room during 5th hour to claim your prize! To get your name entered for next week's raffle, make sure to donate to the Penny Drive table right outside the Cafeteria!

If you are on a Battle of the Books team, or you would like to be, please come to the library for a brief meeting TODAY at 7:15am.

Any boys who are interested in playing on the Clarke Indoor Soccer League need to stop by the Activities Office to pick up a registration form.  All forms need to be signed and returned to the Activities Office by December 19th.

ALL BASEBALL PLAYERS – there will be a short meeting TODAY, December 13th at 2:45 in the cafeteria to discuss off-season training. 

Just added for Monday the 17th, recent alum Brittany Smith will be here to represent the University of Missouri at 9:15am. Come talk to Brittany about her transition from Senior to Mizzou!

Collin Sindt, recent Senior grad and current Iowa Hawkeye, will be here Monday, December 17th at 10:00 a.m. to talk to interested students about the University of Iowa in the School Counseling Office. Come here what Collin has to say about his transition from Senior to Iowa!

Thursday, Jan 10th, Grace Bertelli, from Independence, IA will be back home from New York and would love to talk to interested students about her transition from Iowa to Columbia University, a selective college located in New York City!! Grace is a freshman currently declared a History and Political Science major. Come here what Grace has to say about Columbia and the admission process on January 10th at 10am!!

RAM FANS!!

 Do you still need some holiday gift ideas?  Do you need to spruce up your Ram Apparel?

 The Booster Club will be selling apparel and gifts during the basketball games and wrestling meet next Thursday, Dec 13th and Friday, Dec 14th.  They will be selling from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm(ish).

 Item’s available include:  All apparel, hats, scarves, stadium seats, koozies, and more!!  And don’t forget, if you can’t make it to the games, items are also available through the Activities Office.
