Students who ordered a 2016-17 Yearbook and have not picked it up should go to the Business Office to pick up their book. Additionally, any student who wants to order a 2017-18 should go to the Business Office to order and pay for one OR go to the Student Payment Portal to order a book.
Seniors - Your senior photos are due to the Yearbook staff by November 24, 2017. If you submit your photo after that date, you must pay a late charge for your photo to be included. Any photos received after February 1st will not be included. Submit your photos as a jpeg to dubuquesenior@gmail.com with your name in the subject line. If you have questions about photo requirements, please contact Mrs. Jackman for details.
COLOR GUARD: Are you looking for something fun to do? The senior color guard has 5 positions open, and they want you! Want to give it a try? Join them on September 24th for their all day rehearsal beginning at 9 am in Nora Gym, give it a week trial run before you commit to such a great activity. Unscripted, Dubuque Senior's Improv Comedy Troupe will hold open workshops Tuesday Sept 5th, Thursday Sept 7th, and Tuesday Sept 12th from 5:00-6:30p.m. in Rm A209 with Auditions to be held after school on Thursday Sept 14th. It is important to attend as many of the workshops as possible to learn the games we will be using for auditions. Any questions see Mr. Ernzen in B237. Come be a part of the fun!
9th graders--You will attend the Respect Retreat one full day next week, Wednesday or Thursday based on who your English teacher is. Please check with your English teacher if you are not sure which day you will be attending. Please wear comfortable clothing and your school ID to the retreat. You will need to report to the cafeteria by 7:35AM on your retreat day. Please let your English teacher or Mrs. Brokus know if you have any questions.
Are you looking for adventure and excitement? Come join the Discovery Club! We have a canoe trip planned for Saturday, September 16 on the Maquoketa River in Monticello. This is a great way to get outdoors, enjoy the last days of summer, and meet new friends. The Discovery Club meets on Thursday mornings in B-249. We will hand out permission slips and discuss other activities for the year. Talk to Ms. Pfohl in B-249 or Ms. Koch in A-226 if you cannot attend.
DEBATE TEAM: Attention, students! The Debate Team will be hosting our informational meetings on September 13 at 7:15am and September 14 at 2:30pm in B133, the Social Studies LRC.
