Congratulations to the Dubuque Senior Speech team on an impressive performance at the State Large Group Contest held here at Dubuque Senior. The team earned 27 out of 28 Division I ratings. Excellent Work Rams!
Congratulations to the Men’s Swim Team on their 3rd place finish at the district meet in Cedar Rapids on Saturday. The following swimmers had top-6 finishes to help lead the team: Will Colin, Jacob Hansen, Joe Maddux, Drake Oswald, Collin Sindt, and Brandon Yuan. In addition, congratulations to Will, Jacob, Drake, Collin, and Brandon on finishing in the top 24 in the state and advancing to next weekend’s state meet in Marshalltown.

Snowcoming tickets are now on sale through February 9 in the Business Office. The cost of a blue student ticket is $8. If you are purchasing a red ticket for yourself and a guest from another school, the cost of the ticket is $16 and will gain entry to the dance for both you and your guest. All red guest tickets must be purchased by 3pm on February 8 so the AP Office can review and approve the guest list. NO EXCEPTIONS! Dubuque Senior students will need their double-sided 2016-17 student ID WITH PHOTO (not the temporary ID) and their guests will need a picture ID to be admitted to the dance. There will be no exceptions made at the door, so plan ahead to bring your current Student ID and a photo ID for your guest. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance, as the price increases to $10 if you buy them at the door. See you there!
Auditions for the Dubuque Senior Talent Show are coming up soon! We are looking for all talented Dubuque Senior students to audition for this great performances. The talent show auditions will be held after school today Tuesday, February 7th. You can pick up a copy of the Talent Show Guidelines and sign up for a 10-minute audition time slot in the AP Office TODAY! Don’t miss your shot to perform for your friends and win great prizes.
