Picture retakes are for students who have not had their ID picture taken, purchased pictures but need to retake (make sure to bring your picture packet back to return) or who want to purchase pictures and couldn't at registration. Mark your calendars for September 15th in the auditorium. You will be dismissed to get your picture taken by grade level on the intercom that day.

Students that are planning on bringing a guest to homecoming that is not a Senior student you will need to pick up a guest form. Guest forms are available in the AP office and need to be returned no later than October 2nd .

Auditions for Unscripted- Dubuque Senior’s Improv. Comedy Troupe will be held Today September 11th starting at 2:30 in room A209. If you have not signed up for an audition time and would still like to, stop in and see Mr. Ernzen in room B237.

Students--Do you need help with homework, someone to help you study for a test or quiz or just a quiet place to study? FAST is the program for you. FAST (Friday Academic Support Time) is every Friday from 7:30-8:30 AM in the Senior Library. Please stop in the plans room (right next to the assistant principal's office) to sign up.

The Discovery Club is planning a canoe trip to Monticello this Sunday, September 14th. Get a permission slip from Ms. Pfohl in B-249 or Ms. Koch in A-226. It needs to be returned by our Thursday meeting at 7:15 a.m. in B-249. Come and get active canoeing, meet some new friends, and enjoy the great outdoors.

The Superhero club will be having a yoga night open to all students Tonight at 6pm in the library. Any questions ask Ms. Richman or Anna Gudenkauf.

Exploring Post invites all local high school students to become a member of the John Deere Dubuque Works Engineering & Technology Program. You will be introduced to a wide array of engineering disciplines and some of the engineers that work in those disciplines. In this post you will get hands – on experiences with various programs and projects. The post will meet once a month at John Deere on Thursdays from 5-7:00 p.m. October-April. If interested in a career in engineering, you will definitely want to check it out. Stop in the guidance office for more details. Application materials must be submitted by September 15th.

Attention Freshman: If you have not turned in your permission slip for the Respect Retreat PLEASE do so. You will not be able to attend the retreat without one. If you are a Freshman and did not get a permission slip at registration please see Ms.Saunders in room A223 and pick one up.

Student Leaders: If you signed up to be a student leader for the Respect Retreat there will be a brief informational meeting Today in the Auditorium during A and D Study. If you are unable to attend the meeting PLEASE see Ms. Saunders in A223 to pick up your permission slip.
