FYI: Ty Wittman Placed 5th with a time of 16:05 at the Sr. All Star 5K Meet in Ankeny, Iowa at Des Moines Area Community College. Eli Horton of Southeast Polk was 1st with 15:50. Andrew Brimeyer 14th, 16:36, Wes Westervelt 32nd 17:10, and Tyler Runde 45th 17:33. The Senior men helped the Northeast region place 3rd with 59 points.
Randi Westervelt Placed 8th in the women's 5K with a time of 19:56 and Sam Francois 55th at 22:47.
Tim Wittman was 4th in the 5K open with a time of 17:34.
Great job Senior Men's and Women's cross-country runners for a strong showing at the Senior All Star Meet. 173 of the top Men and women from Iowa competed in this years event.

WINTER CHEERLEADING: Try-outs to fill team spots. Pick up your cheerleading packet outside of the Athletic Office. The final is TODAY at 4:00pm. Any questions please contact Coach Terri Mayberry.

VOLLEYBALL: Any MEN interested in playing volleyball this winter we will be having a quick meeting TODAY after school in the cafeteria at 2:30. If you cannot attend the meeting please find Coach Myres throughout the day.

INTRAMURAL WRESTLING: The Intramural Wrestling Tournament is TODAY after school in the Wrestling Room. Any questions, please see Ms. Borgwardt.

BASEBALL: Any boy interested in playing baseball this year for Senior needs to stop by this week and see Coach Felderman in the boys wellness locker room. He has some baseball information to hand out to you. Thanks.

CLASS RINGS: The Josten's Class Ring presentation scheduled for Today has been postponed. Orders will NOT be taken on November 16th. The presentation will be rescheduled at a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience.

FYI: If you ordered black shorts from the Ram Booster Club at registration you may now pick them up in the Activities Office.

COVERS OF COMFORT: Covers of Comfort – Student Council members are selling raffle tickets to raise money to purchase fleece tie blankets for Covers of Comfort. The blankets are given to adult cancer patients who are in the hospital during the Christmas holidays.
The prizes for the raffle are: Apple IPOD Touch, 1 Senior Lot parking ticket OR gift certificates from the following contributors: Mario’s Restaurant, Reality Check, Jitterz Coffee, Happy Joe’s Pizza, Java Dreams, A.J.’s CafĂ© & Ice Cream, Athenian Grill, Village Inn, 20. Cash (donated by Welter Painting), The Barn in Sherrill, Riverlights, Hardees, Betty Jane Candy, Mindframe Theatre movie tickets, Dubuque Senior High School travel mugs (donated by Plane Art Design). Raffle tickets will be sold at the STUCO zone during 5th hour or after school in the business office. Raffle tickets are 1 ticket for $1 or 6 tickets for $5 and are being sold until November 12th.

BLOOD DRIVE: The fall blood drive will take place on Friday, Nov. 12th. Students interested in donating, must pick up a permission slip in the Stuco Zone. Permission slips must be returned before signing up for a donation time.
