DISCOVERY CLUB: The Discovery Club has found an easy way to feel great every day! Ride your bike to school. Just ask Mrs. Koch and Mr. Jenkins. Next week is National Bike to Work Week and any Senior High School students can participate. Just Google “Telegraph-Herald,” scroll down to “Bike to Work Week” and sign up. There will be prizes for
registered participants who ride 3 or more days. This is a great way to go green! We will also discuss the canoe trip scheduled for Friday, June 11th.
DONATE YOUR GYM UNIFORM: Any seniors wishing to donate your PE uniform for our future Ram students may drop them off in the Nurse’s Office.
FOOD DRIVE: AmeriCorps is having a Food Drive to benefit The Dubuque Community Food Pantry. It is being held in the Guidance Office. Drop off your cans TODAY.
EMPLOYMENT: Employment opportunities for summer: Wal-Mart is looking for temporary workers from May through August. For more information stop in the Guidance Office.
INTRAMURAL: The last Intramural activity of the year will be Ultimate Frisbee at Allison Henderson on Tuesday, May 25th, the seniors last day. Get your teams of 6 signed up and be ready to play by 3:00 pm on that day. Come cheer on your favorite team if you are not playing. Celebrate seniors last day at Allison and Henderson.
FYI: The 5K Run/Walk in honor of Mr. Boughton and all who are in the fight against brain cancer will be held on Saturday May 29th. Entry forms are available in the Main Office. The cost is $15 prior to May 15th and only $10 for each additional family member. This includes a t-shirt! After May 15th the cost is $20 for everyone.
