are hoping not to cancel any one of these dates!! Please meet us and Jason Derby to make sure
you are best prepared for your upcoming ACT testing in April, June or July

• FAFSA Completion Night: Our
first ever night to help our seniors get that FAFSA completed!! Time is running
out and you should have your FAFSA completed by March 1st to take the fullest
advantage of any monies available both through federal and state programs.

UD and NICC will be there.
◦ Monday, Feb 25th 5:30pm-7pm
in the School Counseling Office
◦You can sign up to attend in
our office or through the email sent out last week
Students of this year’s Graduating class.
This year’s
Senior High Awards Assembly will be on Monday May 20th, 2019 at 7:00
p.m. in the Senior High Auditorium. We have a variety of scholarships
(Memorial, Community/School, and Specific College Sponsored) that are available
for our Senior High graduating students in the class of 2019.
Applications
were emailed to your parents last week. If you did not see that email,
please stop by The School Counseling Office to have an application sent to your
email address. There will be a sign up sheet that you will need to put
your name and email address. Mrs. Lawrence will then send you the
electronic application to complete.
You
will need to fill out our application form electronically and electronically
submit the completed PDF application to Mrs. Lawrence at llawrence@dbqschools.org by Wednesday March 20th,
2019 at 2:30 p.m. No late applications will be accepted.
Students – are you going out for a Spring
Sport? If so, get signed up now in the
Activities Office to make sure you have all of the required paperwork that is
needed. Women’s Golf, Men’s and Women’s
Tennis, and Men’s soccer starts on March 11th.
Women’s Soccer starts on March 18th.

Do you enjoy meeting new students
and talking to them about our school? Then you may want to join student
ambassador. If you are interested in learning more about becoming an ambassador
then plan to attend an informational meeting during your A or D study time on
Wednesday Feb. 27th. This is rescheduled
from last week.
Do you want to be a cheerleader next year? If so, tryouts are next month! There will be a MANDORTORY Parent/Student
Meeting on Monday, March 4th at 6:00p.m. in Nora Gym. You will find out all information at this
meeting, so make sure you attend if you want to CHEER on your Rams next
year!!
White Front Seed and Feed is looking for a hard working person to fill a
part time position. No night and 15 to
20 hours a week. Must be 16yrs to
apply. If interested stop in the
counseling office for application.
Dairy Queen and Fazoli's is looking for employees
for part-time. They hire 14 yr. olds and
above. If interested or to apply, stop
in at Dairy Queen, Fazoli's, or Kwik Stop on Kerper blvd.
