Ninety Senior High students will have the opportunity to attend the American Players Theatre's performance of William Shakespeare's King Lear.

9th and 10th grade students sign up on Monday, August 29th at 7:15 in room 217.                           11th and 12th grade students sign up on Tuesday, August 30 at 7:15 in room 217.

It's first come first served! You will receive a permission slip once you have secured a seat. Payment of 30.00 will be turned in with your signed permission slip. See your English teacher for more information!

Do you like to eat? Are you interested in a career involving food or farming? If so - be sure to check out Food For A Changing Planet - a free lecture this Thursday night at Clarke University. Fred Kirschenmann, a respected writer, philosopher, and farmer will talk about future career opportunities and issues facing the next generation of farmers, food scientists, and chefs, and discuss how climate change will affect our world food supply. The event begins at 6 p.m. in the Clarke Atrium with free snacks. The keynote lecture will begin at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to anyone. This lecture is part of the Driftless Farm & Food Fest, which the Dubuque Community School District is a sponsor of.

Attention Staff and Students: This is a reminder to USE the DISIGNATED CROSSWALK before or after school when walking to school.

The Social Studies Computer Lab will be open at 7:00a.m. Monday-Thursday for students to use.

Do you want a quiet place to do school work, get organized or get help in a specific class? Senior's F.A.S.T. (Friday Academic Support Time) program will begin this Friday. F.A.S.T. is held every Friday that school is in session from 7:30 until 8:30 in the Senior library. Para educators and National Honor Society students will be there to help.

Need a place before or after school to study or hang out? The library is open every Monday- Thursday from 7-3 and on Fridays from 815 to 3.

Upper Room would like to invite all students to come pray and learn about God Tuesday mornings at 7 in the Trophy Room/Lobby of Nora Gym.

Attention Students: Homecoming is only three weeks away!!! The dance will be held on Saturday, September 17th from 7pm to 10pm in Nora Gym.

The Discovery Club, Senior's outdoors club, is planning now for their fall events: a canoe trip, a Maquoketa Caves exploring day, and hiking excursions.
