VOLLEYBALL PINK OUT: TONIGHT is our volleyball match against Dubuque Hempstead. It is also our annual "Pink Out" in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. We will be selling T-shirts and all money raised will go to the American Cancer Society. Students and staff can buy t-shirts in the cafeteria during lunch. $10 each. We will sell them through Tuesday night or until they are gone. Thanks again for helping us support this cause.

PSAT TESTING: All juniors who plan to take the PSAT test should sign up in the guidance office. Please bring your $20 cash or check (payable to Senior High School) to the guidance office when signing up. The test will be administered 1st thru 6th hour on Wednesday, October 17th.

UPPER ROOM MEETING: The Upper Room club had a blast last week with our version of musical chairs! Join us this Friday at 7 am in the gym lobby. We always have treats! Come at 7 am for " 5 minutes of craziness"

MATH COMPETITION: Senior High School will be taking 14 students to compete in the Platteville Math Competition on Wednesday, November 7th. We need a team of 7 freshman/sophomores and 7 upperclassmen. Students will be released from school around noon the day of the competition and return around 5:30 p.m. If you are interested, please talk to your math teacher or Mr. Kueper in A322. We will meet to practice problems at 7:10 a.m. on Thursday, October 4th in Mr. Kueper’s room

CAREER EXPLORATION FOR FUTURE ENGINEERS: The Engineering Explorer Post is starting at John Deere. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to work with engineers in the Virtual Reality Lab. You will learn how future engineers will design machines and participate in hands on experiments. Meetings will be held monthly for 2-3 hours. Spots are limited - only accepting 15 students! Applications are due on Oct. 4th. Stop in guidance for more info.

HOMECOMING KING AND QUEEN VOTING: Voting for Homecoming King and Queen will open at NOON on Monday, October 1st, and will close at NOON on Friday, October 5th. Only Seniors will be eligible to vote for King and Queen.

HOMECOMING DANCE REMINDER: The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 13th. If you think you would like to bring a guest who does not attend Senior High School, please stop in the AP office to pick up a guest form. The forms need to be returned by Tuesday, October 9th.
