This is just a reminder for those students signed up for Driver's Ed.... Class starts on Monday! If you have any questions, please stop by the business office today.

If you have an interest in Psychology or Social Work, Clarke University is having a workshop on this FRIDAY from 9:30am to 3:30pm. It's not too late to sign up! Come to our office for more info!

Renaissance Dunkin’ Donut Day!
Students please check the monitor’s in the hall or outside the AP office to see if you are a winner of a free donut from Dunkin’ Donuts.

The Discovery Club
is hiking at Whitewater Canyon on Sunday, April 2nd from noon to 3:00 p.m. Come and join us to see the spectacular view from the overlook, the land bridge, and the Valley of the 13 Caves. Bring your friends along. Contact Ms. Pfohl and Ms. Koch for more info.

Students - you may order yearbooks for the 2016-17 school year up until April 1, 2017. We will not be ordering extra books so if you want one, your order must be in by that date. Books can be ordered through the online student payment portal or the Business Office. Books are $45. If you order a book, it will be available for pickup at registration for the 2017-18 school year.

Boys Basketball players and Wrestlers. Unless you are enrolled in the current Performance PE class you need to clear out your sports locker and return the padlock to the Activities Office BEFORE Wednesday, March 29th. After this date, all lockers will be cleared out and items left in the lockers will be put in the Coaches Office.

There will be a Girls Golf Meeting for both players and parents on Tuesday, March 28th at 6:00 pm in the Cafeteria.

Are you going out for Cheerleading? If you still need a cheer packet, you can pick one up in the Activities Office. All forms are DUE March 27th at the first Try-Out Clinic – NO EXCEPTIONS!!

The show will be held in the cafeteria tonight at 6:30pm. This event will be filled with great music, great art, and features our very own rams as prom dress fashion models. If you would like to submit a form of art to display at the show please contact Mrs. Sheehan in room A124.

Congratulations to the Dubuque Senior Speech team for an impressive showing at the State IE Speech contest at Waldorf College on March 11th. The team earned 49 of 50 Division I ratings. The team also received 30 nominations to the All-State Festival March 27th at the University of Northern Iowa. The team earned the E Wayne Cooley Trophy for the most nominations to the All-State festival for the 7th straight year making them state champions. Way to go Rams!

The DSHS Key Club
has recently elected new officers! They would like to congratulate Avery Fischel who won the presidency, Olivia Kruse who was elected Vice President, El Taverna who will serve as Public Relations, Andie Waller who will become treasurer, Sydney Ringold who was elected secretary and Jenna Meehan as lieutenant governor.

They would like to thank outgoing officers who are graduating, Allison Kirk who served as secretary and Grace Tsui who served as Lieutenant Governor during the past year for their dedication to key club over the years. As well as a big Thank You to everyone who voted and ran for an office!

And the WINNER OF OUR SCHOOL BREAKFAST CHALLENGE HDMX Wireless Portable Speaker goes to….. Michael Small.

– are you going out for any of the following sports – Men’s or Women’s Tennis, Men’s Soccer, or Women’s Golf? If you are, you need to know that these sports start the same time as Spring Break (March 13th). DO NOT WAIT until the first day of practice to sign up for these sports. IF you wait, you will NOT be allowed to practice because the school offices will be closed during Spring Break and there will be no one to sign you up. Also if you’ve already signed up for any of these sports, but are missing any required paperwork to practice, make sure you get these in before March 13th as well. Get signed up in the Activities Office TODAY!
