CONGRATULATIONS: Six students from the Dubuque Senior High School band program have been selected to participate in the Northeast Iowa Bandmasters’ Association Honor Band Festival on Saturday, December 4, 2010. These students will perform in one of two 128 piece, select ensembles make up of instrumentalists from sixty schools in Northeast Iowa. The following instrumentalists from the Dubuque Senior High School Band were selected for this honor: Adam O’Dell, Jessica Larsen, Courtney Chaffee, Mikayla Wickham, Kevein Strickland, and Lily Brondyke.

MORP DANCE: Dubuque Senior's Key Club will be sponsoring its annual MORP dance TONIGHT from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. MORP is "prom" spelled backwards, which means this is a special dance from freshmen, but all are welcome. The theme is "Finding Nemo" so wear your best underwater gear - snorkelers are welcome! Tickets are $2 for Red Renaissance, $3 for Blue or White Renaissance, and $4 for general admission. Senior students only. Remember to vote for MORP King and Queen in cafeteria. The proceeds benefit local community organizations and Kiwanis International.

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES: All 10th graders interested in taking the PLAN Test can now sign up in the Guidance Office. If you are planning on attending a four year college, then you should strongly consider taking the PLAN test.
The PLAN test is the pre-ACT test. You will receive a score range of what you will score on the ACT and how to improve. Please bring $15.00 for the test fee. We only have 100 tests, so sign up immediately. If you have any
questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Santiago in the Guidance Office.

MEN'S CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNERS: The end of the season booklets are in. If you are interested in owning one, come to Mr. Kilgore's room, D-153.

NO SHAVE NOVEMBER: To help support the Special Olympics some teachers have promised not to shave for the entire month of November. On the 22nd and 23rd you will get the chance to vote on the best, worst and creepiest mustache during lunch. Please consider donating along with your vote, it is greatly encouraged.
