PHYSICAL FORM: Any one intending to participate in men's swimming, men's and women's bowling, or womens' basketball must stop in the activity office to be cleared to practice before Monday, November 8th. Fall athletes need to switch over to their winter sport and athletes new to a sport this year must turn in a physical and emergency card to obtain permission to practice.

PROGRESS REPORT CARD: Students can pick up their progress reports in the main office TODAY.

CLASS RINGS: The Josten's Class Ring presentation scheduled for Tuesday, November 9th has been postponed. Orders will NOT be taken on November 16th. The presentation will be rescheduled at a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience.

SPORTS LOCKER CLEAN OUT: All fall athletes are asked to clean out their sports lockers by TODAY. All contents from the lockers will be emptied and combinations will be changed on Saturday, the 6th.

FYI: If you ordered black shorts from the Ram Booster Club at registration you may now pick them up in the Activities Office.

WINTER CHEERLEADING: Try-outs to fill team spots. Pick up your cheerleading packet outside of the Athletic Office as soon as possible. There are Teacher Evaluations that are required on the first day. The dates are Monday November 8th 4-7pm and final on Tuesday November 9th at 4:00pm. VOLLEYBALL: Any MEN interested in playing volleyball this winter we will be having a quick meeting Tuesday, November 9th, after school in the cafeteria at 2:30. If you cannot attend the meeting please find Coach Myres throughout the day.

CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Ram Cross-Country Runners Randi Westervelt, Sam Francois, Krista Laufenberg, and Kat Martin for being selected to the Iowa Association of Track Coaches Senior All-Star Meet. This meet is held during the first weekend in November to recognize the finest 12th grade cross-country runners in the state of Iowa. This year's race will be Saturday, November 6th at the DMACC campus in Ankeny, Iowa. Great job, ladies!!!

INTRAMURAL WRESTLING: The Intramural Wrestling Tournament has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 9th after school in the Wrestling Room. Any questions, please see Ms. Borgwardt.

VOLLEYBALL: Any women interested in playing volleyball next year, we will be having a meeting in the cafeteria Monday, November 8th at 2:30pm.

MEN'S TENNIS: This Saturday, November 6th, and the next Saturday, the 13th, there will be meet and play sessions at 11 AM on the Senior Courts. This is open to all boys who may be interested in playing for Senior this spring. BRING YOUR RACQUET!

COVERS OF COMFORT: Covers of Comfort – Student Council members are selling raffle tickets to raise money to purchase fleece tie blankets for Covers of Comfort. The blankets are given to adult cancer patients who are in the hospital during the Christmas holidays.
The prizes for the raffle are: Apple IPOD Touch, 1 Senior Lot parking ticket OR gift certificates from the following contributors: Mario’s Restaurant, Reality Check, Jitterz Coffee, Happy Joe’s Pizza, Java Dreams, A.J.’s CafĂ© & Ice Cream, Athenian Grill, Village Inn, 20. Cash (donated by Welter Painting), The Barn in Sherrill, Riverlights, Hardees, Betty Jane Candy, Mindframe Theatre movie tickets, Dubuque Senior High School travel mugs (donated by Plane Art Design). Raffle tickets will be sold at the STUCO zone during 5th hour or after school in the business office. Raffle tickets are 1 ticket for $1 or 6 tickets for $5 and are being sold until November 12th.

CHANGE IN BLOOD DRIVE: The fall blood drive will take place on Friday, Nov. 12th. Students interested in donating, must pick up a permission slip in the Stuco Zone. Permission slips must be returned before signing up for a donation time. All donors must attend an informational meeting. Mandatory blood donor meeting is Monday, November 8th. This meeting will be held in A 100 during "A" and "D" lunches. Remember, you must attend one of the mandatory meetings in order to donate, even if you have donated before.
