A new student group, The Green Team, is forming at Senior.  Come find out how you can help make Senior a more sustainable and responsible green community.  The Green Team will be meeting on Wednesday December 18th at 7am in room A219.   See Ms. Schaller or Ms. Lammer-Heindel if you have questions.

Congrats to the RAM wrestling girls on their strong finish this weekend at the BGM Brooklyn High School girls invitational Friday Night. The lady rams had the first ever girls tournament champion in Freshman Hannah Reel and strong places by other freshmen Marissa Kamm placing 2nd and Carly Hefel Placing 3rd. The ladies are looking forward to continuing to improve and want to encourage other girls to join the team! Go Rams

Attention students who have signed up to go on the Apprenticeship field trip this Wednesday to either Moline or Cedar Rapids. The buses will be leaving sharply at 7:30 Wednesday morning from the Wal-Mart parking lot.  You need to be there by 7:15 to load the bus.  If you have any questions, please talk to Mr. Kress.

We have a baseball meeting this Thursday 12/12 after school in the cafeteria from 2:45-3:00.  Please put in the announcements that the meeting is for all baseball students looking to participate in baseball this year grades 9-12. We will discuss off-season workouts, pitchers/catchers, and hitting sessions. Thank you for your help. Only ten school days to go. Have a great week.

If you are interested in studying ENGINEERING or any, STEM degree in college…WE HAVE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU!

The Dubuque Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will be starting a Mentoring Program for female eleventh grade students from both Dubuque Senior and Hempstead High School. 

The purpose of our program is to help you know what to expect and provide you with the tools to be successful as a woman in STEM by covering topics that range from college preparation and real-world applications to personal insights from our SWE mentors about being a woman in STEM.
This program starts second semester and we will be having an informational meeting the second week of December during support time. 

If you are interested….please see Ms. Lawrence in the School Counseling Office ASAP.
