STUDENT NEWS

Congratulations to the Dubuque Senior Speech Team on earning 19 Nominations to the All State Large Group Festival to be held at Iowa State University in Ames on February 18th. Seventy-five students qualified to represent Senior in one or more events. Way to go Rams!

Dubuque Senior High School's annual Man Pageant is coming up soon! This NHS-sponsored event will be held on Wednesday, February 15th at 7pm in the auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door and all proceeds will be donated to the Dubuque Regional Humane Society. Come out and see which of our 11 contestants will win the title! Contestants are: Tatum Hallstoos, Jacob Hansen, Zach Hess, Brendan Howe, Jack Kemp, Robbie Klinkhammer, Drake Oswald, Connor Ripperger, Collin Sindt, Evan Van Vleck, and William Woodward.

STUDENTS: Just a friendly reminder it is required that you wear your student ID’s at all times, especially when you are in the halls. This is for your safety.

For all "Scribes" members - there will be a writing club meeting TODAY, Feb. 8th at 2:30 in A213. Any questions, please see Mrs. Williams!

Snowcoming tickets are now on sale through February 9 in the Business Office. The cost of a blue student ticket is $8. If you are purchasing a red ticket for yourself and a guest from another school, the cost of the ticket is $16 and will gain entry to the dance for both you and your guest. All red guest tickets must be purchased by TODAY February 8 so the AP Office can review and approve the guest list. NO EXCEPTIONS! Dubuque Senior students will need their double-sided 2016-17 student ID WITH PHOTO (not the temporary ID) and their guests will need a picture ID to be admitted to the dance. There will be no exceptions made at the door, so plan ahead to bring your current Student ID and a photo ID for your guest. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance, as the price increases to $10 if you buy them at the door. See you there!
