Students of this year’s Graduating class.

This year’s Senior High Awards Assembly will be on Monday May 16th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Senior High Auditorium. We have a variety of scholarships (Memorial, Community/School, and Specific College Sponsored) that are available for our Senior High graduating students.

For you to be eligible for these scholarships, you will need to fill out our application form electronically and electronically submit the completed application to Mrs. Lawrence at llawrence@dbqschools.org by Wednesday March 23rd, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.

If you would like to fill one out, come to Guidance beginning TODAY MONDAY FEBRUARY 29TH and give our secretary, Mrs. Pfab, your name and email address. Mrs. Lawrence will then send you the electronic application to complete.

The following Renaissance students have each won a Burrito from Pancheros. Congratulations to Sanity Alfred (12), William Woodward (11), Grace Zuccaro (10) and Rebecca Alvarenga (9) please stop by the AP office to pick up your gift certificate to Pancheros!

Renaissance Little Caesars Pizza winners for the month of February are Jenna Sun (12) and Jason Wissing (9), please stop by the AP office to pick up your gift certificate!

Student Council is collecting formal gowns for the RamFam. Please bring any new or gently used formal dresses (shoes and accessories too if you have them) to room B138 beginning on Tuesday, February 23rd. Attention all Juniors -The Deadline to register for the April ACT is Friday, March 4th. Any Questions see your school counselor.

Women’s Golf: If you are going out for WOMEN’S GOLF, there will be an Informational Meeting TONIGHT at 2:30 pm in Room A323.

“Do you like science and have a competitive attitude? If so you should join Chemistry Olympics where you will work with fellow students to compete against local high schools. The events include density drop, chemistry jeopardy and so much more! You would be required to attend one practice per week either Monday or Friday as well as the competition on April 15th, which Senior is currently undefeated. Meetings will start tonight, February 29th. If you are interested, stop by room B-241 and see Mr. Gates for more information.”


Registration forms for the next session of Driver’s Education are now available in the Business Office and Guidance. The next session begins March 14th.
