Last Thursday and Friday, the Model United Nations club attended the state conference at UNI. There were over 400 students in attendance and we were able to obtain 6 awards. Congratulate Sidney Spurgeon, Hannah Schmitt, Alice Tsui, and Grace Tsui for earning awards for Outstanding Position Paper. In addition, congratulate Pooja Patel and Josh Mauss for being named Outstanding Delegate for their participation at the conference. Everyone worked very hard and made Senior proud!

How do your grades look? Are they as good as they should be? If you need help studying for a test, working on a project, or just a quiet place to study, please come to FAST Friday in the Senior library from 7:30-8:30. If you have questions please see Mrs. Brokus or Mrs. Lanser.

Did you know that students in Guatemala have to pay for their education beyond 6th grade? Did you know that you can play a part in helping send two Guatemalan students, Alex and Alejandra, to school for a year? A donation of $7 will give you a cool new "Yuda Band" bracelet - which are available in many different styles - and two Guatemalan students the chance to continue their education! Our goal is to sell 350 bracelets so that we can fully fund a year of education for our two chosen Guatemalan students. Please help us out with this important cause! Stop and see National Honor Society members outside of the cafeteria during all lunches through Friday, April 24th.
