The RAMS Mens track team competed at the UNI Dome in the Mississippi Valley Conference Indoor Meet last night. Place winners included:

Ty Kloft and Austin Heiderscheit , 2nd and 3rd place in the 3200 meter run.​   Landon Kraus, Brad Ware, Collin Seymour and Jacob Osterberger 3rd place in the shuttle hurdle relay.  Collin Seymour 2nd place in the 60 meter high hurdles.   Brad Ware, Lee Bonifas, Deangelo Jackson and Ty Kloft 4th place in the 1600 meter medley.   Brad Ware, DeAngelo Jackson, Jacob Osterberger and Collin Seymour 3rd place in the 4x400 meter relay.   DeAngelo Jackson 2nd place in the long jump.  Jameel Kelley 4th place in the shot put.

Great job Rams!

Congratulations to the Dubuque Senior Speech Team on receiving 31 Nominations to IHSSA All-State festival at UNI on March 30th. The team also won the E. Wayne Cooley Sweepstakes Trophy for the most nominations for the fifth straight year. The following students received nominations:

Mr. Kohl’s Marine Biology class is going on an awesome trip to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago on March 26th. If you have taken Marine Biology this year, be sure to get a permission slip from him today!

Permission slips are due Wednesday, March 18th at the latest, it’s best to be urgent!

Once Mr. Kohl’s Marine students have returned their permission slips in, it will open to Mr. Ernzens Genetics students and the Discovery Club.    If you have any questions see Mr. Kohl in either A130 or B233.

Make sure you purchased your yearbook by checking online, at the Dubuque Community Schools website.

Go into the online payment portal and log in with your ID number and last name. Your ID number is your log in, and your last name is your password. From there you can check to see if you purchased your yearbook already OR you can buy your yearbook right then and there.

The deadline to be guaranteed that you have ordered a yearbook is MARCH 31!!!!

Attention Senior! Our annual Spring Blood Drive is coming up and will be held Friday, March 27th. If you will be 16 years of age by the time of the Blood Drive, you are eligible to participate. You can sign up for a time and get your permission and information sheets in the STUCO Zone during lunch. Permission sheets must be signed by a parent or guardian and brought back by the mandatory donor meeting during either A or D study on Tuesday March 24th. Remember, every donation saves 3 lives!

Semester Final Exemptions! 9th, 10th and 11th grade students that are planning on exempting from a semester final will need the 4th quadrant stamped on the ID.
