Congratulations to the RAMS Freshman and first year wrestlers who showed up with a dominant performance at the tournament on Saturday.

Senior High School Varsity Wrestling team went to the Jim Boyd Invitational in Riverdale Illinois. In this tournament there were some tough teams including two Illinois 1A top ten ranked teams; Sherrard and Erie/Prophetstown.

Senior was able to get 9th place out of 15 teams. Marti Steffen went 1-2 to get 6th place at 126 with 1 pin. Joe Budde went 2-1 to get 5th at 132 with 2 pins. Matt Connolly went 1-2 to get 6th place at 138 with 1 major decision. Luke Hoerner went 3-2 to get 6th place at 145 with 3 pins. Johnny Massmen went 2-1 to get 5th place at 220 with 2 pins. Mitch Demmer went 2-1 to get 5th at 285 with 1 pin

ATTENTION: IM Kickball has been cancelled for this week, due to maintenance. In place of Kickball we will have Ultimate Frisbee.

The Executive RAMPAGE Staff is delighted to premier the first all-color RAMPAGE! Today the RAMS are joining the ranks of the other high schools in the area that are already publishing full color news magazines, like CR Kennedy, Iowa City West.

All Girls PE locks must be turned in by Friday and locker contents must be removed. There will be time during wellness class for you to do this as well. If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Ovsak or Mrs. Riley.

The Dubuque Community Y is looking for creative, responsible people to be a part of a team that provides fun and educational activities for K-5th graders. This before/after school program is held at various schools sites throughout Dubuque.

Complete an application at Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA, 35 North Booth St. Dubuque or 4170 Pennsylvania Ave. Dubuque.

Girl’s Track: Pre-Season Track Workouts will begin January 6th 2:30 in the indoor track. Meet Coach Murphy there, workouts will be Tuesday/Thursday indoor track at 2:30.

Looking for something fun to do over the Winter Break? The Mystique Community Ice Center will be having a HIGH SCHOOL ONLY Public Skate on December 30th from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Admission and skate rental is only $5!! Get your friends together for a fun time on the ice!

Reminders for Seniors who are graduating at semester;

Please return your parking passes to Cher in the AP Office tomorrow, December 16th. You still will be allowed to park in the lot until the end of the semester with just your license plate number.

Also, your signed graduation check list is due to Kim in the Main Office before you leave for the winter break! Good Luck Rams!

Project Kids: A friendly reminder from Student Council concerning Project Kids. Please remember that if you are sponsoring a kid in need, bring your items to the auditorium balcony on Tuesday’s and Thursday during B, C or D study time before winter break. Thanks again!

Be sure to look at your 2nd semester schedule on PowerSchool NOW to review; SENIORS – be sure to double check that you are meeting all graduation requirements. We are now accepting registrations for Drivers Ed. Classes begin January 6 through March 13. There's a morning class and an afternoon class. Registration forms can be picked up and turned in at the business office, the deadline for turning registration forms is December 18th.
