STUDENT NEWS

Snowcoming tickets are now on sale through February 9 in the Business Office. The cost of a blue student ticket is $8. If you are purchasing a red ticket for yourself and a guest from another school, the cost of the ticket is $16 and will gain entry to the dance for both you and your guest. All red guest tickets must be purchased by 3pm on February 8 so the AP Office can review and approve the guest list. NO EXCEPTIONS! Dubuque Senior students will need their double-sided 2016-17 student ID WITH PHOTO (not the temporary ID) and their guests will need a picture ID to be admitted to the dance. There will be no exceptions made at the door, so plan ahead to bring your current Student ID and a photo ID for your guest. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance, as the price increases to $10 if you buy them at the door. See you there!

On Saturday, Senior's 5-member Science Bowl Team
went to Iowa State University to compete in the Regional Science Bowl Competition. After 9 increasingly difficult rounds of questions covering biology, chemistry, physics, earth/space science, energy, and math they proudly earned a 4th place ranking out of 40 teams! Be sure to congratulate Jacob Hansen, Sibani Ram, Collin Sindt, Allison Steger, and Grace Tsui when you see them today - and ask them how you can join the team next year! Practices will be held every-other Wednesday (beginning Feb. 8th) after school in B242.

Auditions for the Dubuque Senior Talent Show
are coming up soon! We are looking for all talented Dubuque Senior students to audition for this great performances. Dress alike, do a silly pose, or something else that shows who you are. Additionally, please also either bring in or email a photo of you and your sibling as young children to dubuquesenior@gmail.com. This photo will be published with your current photo, so be sure it is one you don't mind being widely seen.
