Voting for Homecoming King and Queen is open now! Log on to eballot.vote/dshs using your school username and student ID to cast your vote for this year's king and queen. Don't delay! Voting closes this Friday at 2:20pm! Stop by B138 if you have any questions or need help voting.

Homecoming Dance Tickets are now on sale in the Business Office. The cost of a ticket is $10.

If you are purchasing a ticket for yourself and a guest from another school the cost of the ticket is $20 one ticket for you and your guest...

You will pay $20 to get one ticket. this one ticket will be your and your guest entrance to the dance.

ALL STUDENTS AND GUESTS MUST HAVE A PICTURE ID TO ENTER THE HOMECOMING DANCE.


Attention Students: Backpacks and bags are not allowed at events in Nora Gym or Dalzell Field. Backpacks and bags will be taken at the tickets booths and will not be accessible until after the contests are completed.

If interested in painting a window for homecoming week or creating a float for the homecoming parade please email akins@dbqschools.org. Window Painting will take place on Saturday September 10th and the homecoming parade will take place on September 16th. You must register for to participate in advance, so don't wait.

Students and Staff:

Senior High LETTERMAN JACKETS will SOON BE AVAILABLE! If you’ve always wanted a letterman’s jacket to show your school pride, now’s your chance to get one! A representative will be outside the cafeteria to help students with sizing and ordering information TODAY, September 7th from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. Stop by to see what your DBQ Senior Letterman’s jacket will look like. All orders will be done online, at any time. Any questions, please stop in the Activities Office.

Unscripted, Dubuque Senior's Improv Comedy Troupe
will hold open workshops Thursday Sept 8th, and Tuesday Sept 13th from 2:30-4:00 in Rm A209 with Auditions to be held after school on Thursday Sept 15th. It is important to attend as many of the workshops as possible to learn the games we will be using for auditions. Any questions see Mr. Ernzen in B237. Come be a part of the fun!

Looking for a part-time job?? Chick-fil-a opens Sept 16. and is looking for high school students to fill various positions. Must be 16. Morracco Supper Club is looking for workers to buss tables and do kitchen work - ages 15 and over. Little Treasures DayCare is looking for people who like working with kids - must be 16. All job contacts are listed on the bulletin board outside the Counseling Office or stop in the counseling office for details.
