Here's a question for you, Rams:

Which of the following atomic features is the most important in controlling the reactivity of an atom:

W) core electrons

X ) valence-shell electrons

Y) protons

Z) neutrons

If you know that the correct answer is X) valence-shell electrons, you should think about joining this year's Science Bowl Team! Science Bowl tests your knowledge in the areas of chemistry, physics, biology, earth science, and mathematics- but you won't be alone, we will compete in teams of 5. There will be an informational meeting about Science Bowl in Mr. Gates' room (B241) at 2:30 on Wednesday - please plan to stop by, or talk to Mr. Gates or Mrs. Fischer if you cannot attend but would like more information!
