The French, German and Spanish Club will be going ice-skating this Sunday January 18th from 3-5pm at the Mystique Ice Area. It costs $6 to get in and $3 to rent skates. Hope to see you there.

​Sam Swift, former Ram and current Bradley University student will be here today at 10:15 to talk to interested students. Bradley University is a 4 year university in the heart of Peoria, IL. Come talk to Sam about her transition to college at 10:15 in the School Counseling Office.

Ski Club: Ever wondered what it is like to ski race, or snowboard race? Now is your chance to find out! Come out to Sundown on Thursdays between 3:30-5:30 to try it out!

​Second semester is well underway. If the cold weather has hampered your academic progress already this semester, please consider utilizing the FAST (Friday Academic Support Time) program. The first FAST of second semester will be this Friday, Jan. 9th from 7:30 AM until 8:30 AM in the Senior library. Students who want to attend FAST, need to enter through the cafeteria doors at 7:30. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Brokus in the AP office.

If you were in a semester class and have not turned in your textbook yet, please do so. We are beginning to send out bills for those books- and some of them are over $100!! Please return them as soon as possible.

Seniors you have until Friday, January 16th to place your graduation announcement orders, after that date it will be too late to order. Packets can be picked up in the Main Office. You will need to mail your order to Jostens by the 16th of January.

Teachers and students are welcome to help themselves to binders that were made available to us by donation, when a local business (Quebeqor publishing) left Dubuque. They are in the guidance office, so please come in and help yourself--- We have 2 inch, 3 ring binders! Take 2 or a box of 12!

Job Openings – check out the bulletin board by the guidance office if interested in finding a part time job. Recent openings include The Meadows Golf Club and Swiss Colony Data Center in Dickeyville WI. Both places will work around your school schedule.

The Dubuque Community Y is looking for creative, responsible people to be a part of a team that provides fun and educational activities for K-5th graders. This before/after school program is held at various schools sites throughout Dubuque.
