There will be an Art Club meeting on Wednesday September 17th from 2:30-3:30 in room B61. Anyone interested in art is welcome to attend.

The 2014 Dubuque College Fair is this Wednesday, Sept 17th from 6-8pm in the Clarke University Kehl Center! Interact with over 70 colleges and universities!! Whether your a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior - this is a great opportunity to explore your options. You can register at www.iowacollegefairs.com prior to expedite filing out interest cards and sharing contact information with colleges.

The 13th annual Scott Althoff Memorial Alumni Baseball Game will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 10: AM at Petrakis Park. Come out and watch some of your favorite Rams from the past. Tickets at the gate are $5. Nothing beats fun at the old ballpark!

We are partnering with the Carnegie Stout Public Library to offer students public library cards! (You could get one too if you don't have one!) I did this last year with them and it worked really well. While our students will have access and training to Destiny and Keystone, there are a lot more services that come with a public library card as well that I will be offering training on and encouraging them to use. These are great for everyone, not just college bound students. Only students who live in city limits are eligible for a full library card. Those outside city limits can get a restricted card but can not use the online resources. (However, I will show you a completely legal work around for county kids if you want your whole class working with online research in vetted databases- they will just have to follow a different process.)

Please email jbontemps@dbqschools.org if you are interested by Sept. 19th.

Automotive Club: If you are interested in competing in an automotive skills competition, there will be an automotive club meeting on Thursday morning at 7:10 in E11. If you cannot make it, see Mr. Zuck for details.

Upper Room would like to invite all students to come pray, hear about God, eat some snacks & have some fun. Come join us in the gym lobby every Friday morning 7:50 - 8:00.
