BAZINGA! Have you heard this exclamation before?  If so, you may be science bowl material! The Dubuque Senior Science Department is in the process of forming a Science Bowl team and is looking for all interested members.  If interested, please talk to your science teacher so further information can be given to you.

"Spanish Club will have a meeting on Tuesday, September 23rd right after school in room E34. Earn points for attending, and help plan upcoming events. We need your help! See you there!"

There will be an automotive club meeting on Wednesday morning at 7:00 in E11.

Are you interested in acting, singing, dancing, improv, or film? Join the award winning Senior High Speech team. Come to the informational meeting this Thursday Sept. 25th in the Lamb-Hedeman Auditorium from 2:30-3:30. Any questions contact Mr. Ernzen (B237) or Mr. Dean (A209). See you there.

Exploring Post invites all local high school students to become a member of the Nursing Explore Program offered by the team of Mercy Hospital in Dubuque & NICC. Peosta Campus. You will be introduced to a wide array of Nursing responsibilities and Nurses that work in those disciplines. In this post you will get hands – on experiences. The post will meet once a month locations and times will vary from September –January. If interested in a career in Nursing, you will definitely want to check it out. Stop in the guidance office for more details. Application materials must be submitted by September 23rd.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday the Cheerleaders are selling “District 8” Football t-shirts during lunch outside of the cafeteria. Stop by and buy one they are only $10.00.

Our next IM Event will be 6v6 Dodgeball, October 8th in Nora Gym. Let's make this as big as last year's turnout.

Are you interested in careers in the field of automotive, diesel, motorcycle, collision repair, nascar, or marine technician? If so, stop down to E11 on Monday, September 22. There will be a representative from the Universal Technical Institute talking to classes all day. If you have questions, see Mr. Zuck (Zook).

Job Opening: Local Law firm looking for part-time runner. Must be 16 and have a car to drive for this position. Hours are 3-5pm. More info, see Ms. Richman in guidance.

Students that are planning on bringing a guest to homecoming that is not a Senior student you will need to pick up a guest form. Guest forms are available in the AP office and need to be returned no later than October 2nd.
