Unscripted: Workshops for Unscripted – Dubuque Senior’s comedy Improv. Troupe will be held September 2nd, 4th & 9th in Lamb-Hedeman Auditorium from 2:30-4:00. It is important to attend as many workshops as possible to practice the games we will be using for auditions on Thursday September 11th. Come join us for a little improve. and a lot of fun!!

Become a Senior High Superhero and join our club. 1st meeting will be Thursday at 7:10 in the guidance office. The goal of the “Superhero Club” is to make the world a better place through mindful decisions and positive interactions. We will hold monthly meetings and activities to create a healthy well-being. See you Thursday!

Key Club meets every Wednesday morning at 7:00 in room B-233 in the science hall way. This is a great way to give back to the community, nation, and the world! Also, you can get service hours for NHS, it’s a good way to meet people and not to mention looks great on college applications! Key Club is a lot of fun and you feel good knowing you’re helping others. So come check us out! We’ll be here every day making children’s future, our focus!!

Love the outdoors? We have just the club for you! The Discovery Club, Senior's Outdoor Exploration group, will be meeting this Thursday, August 28th at 7:15 a.m. in B-249, Ms. Pfohl's room. We will be discussing our upcoming canoe trip at Monticello. Plan to attend to get all the details and find out other outdoor trips and service projects for this fall. That's 7:15 a.m on Thursday, the 28th in B-249.

The 2014 yearbooks are available for pickup in the Activities Office. If you did not order a book you can sign up on the waiting list to purchase one in September. Don't forget to pick up your 2014 yearbook in the Activities Office.... It's RAMTASTIC!

Part-time employment to earn some extra cash!! Michael’s, Wal-Mart, and Blaine’s Farm and Fleet are hiring. Check out the job board outside of the guidance office for postings.

Have you ever considered a career in LAW ENFORCEMENT? This unique opportunity is available to students who are interested in criminal justice – you will learn about laws and participate in crime scene investigation, patrol techniques, fingerprinting, firearms handling, and much more. If interested check out the bulletin board by guidance or stop in the guidance office for more info and how to participate. Deadline for registering in Sept. 9th.

Upper Room would like to invite all students to come pray, hear about God, eat some snacks and have some fun. Come attend this Friday at 8:00 am – 8:30 in the gym lobby.

Are you interested in current events? Do you like discussing topics with small groups of your peers? Do you like learning about the world and different cultures? If you said yes to any of these questions then plan to check out Model United Nations at the informational Tuesday, August 26 @ 7:10 in B139. We will share descriptions of the club and events we plan to attend this school year. If you are interested but unable to attend, see Ms. Weiland in B139.

National Honor Society Students, are you in need of volunteer hours and love to help others learn? The FAST program is in need to student tutors. The program will begin on Friday, September 5th from 7:30-8:30 in the Senior High library. We would love your help. Please stop in the assistant principals’ office to see Mrs. Brokus or the plans room to sign up to help. Thanks!
